What is "TEMI"?

“TEMI” was created and patented by “ChK plus”, LLC in 2012. Since 2016 we offer our customers advanced model "TEMI-M", with improvements, based on 3 years experience feedback from Petersburg Metro and Russian Disabled People Society. 

“TEMI” allows to solve the problem of transporting disabled passengers in wheelchairs  on the metropolitans’ escalators up and down in crowd without switching off the escalator.

"TEMI" is included to the List of Innovative technologies, recommended for Government Procurement by the Ministry of Transport of Russian Federation   (MoM №ДБ-83 от 24.09.2020)

More than 80 metro stations and malls in Russia are already using "TEMI" solution for increasing accessibility. 

Advantages of the “TEMI”(Model "TEMI-001M"):

•    Suitable for different models of manual wheelchairs;

•    Does not require to stop the escalator; 

•    Device is safe for passengers, fully resistant to emergency stops of the escalator;

•    Does not block the way for passengers on escalator in case of emergency;  

•    Can be used in the crowd;

•    Has simple construction;

•    Much cheaper than electromechanical devices;

•    Does not need expensive service;

•    Does not damage the escalator.

Many tests in the Saint Petersburg Metro were made(with and without wheelchair passenger, with several emergency stops in each destinations and so on). All tests were passed brilliantly.
